Jack in week 7 of training

http://transformationofmarines.wordpress.com/2011/10/29/team-week/

This is a video of what Jack is doing this week in the US Marines bootcamp..he has started the third phase now and is on the home run..

his letters have been interesting, as they do a watch rotation for rattle snakes, have  poisonous spiders to deal with, food is a big topic, i think he is going to eat and eat when he gets home..and nothing that comes out of a MRE packet!!!

Miss that boy so much but very proud of him

New Orleans

I am back in NOLA.. Loving it this time with Cara and her friend from UK, Marissa.. Have taken them away for the Memorial day weekend.. Having fun.

Swamp tour, because my mum took me last time and I loved it, on a paddle steamer and VIP tours to see the beauty and devastation of NOLA.. Katrina left behind a determined city to rebuild and regroup..

Mum and I at the battle ground of the new Orleans war
