Actually it is ending

Mardi Gras ends on Tuesday.. Shrove Tuesday to us, the filling yourself up with loads of food before lent.... Turned into parades, parties and carnivals... Then Ash Wednesday comes and I will remember Galveston !!!

MArdi GRAS is coming yo an end

It's Mardi Gras in Galveston... This made me smile... Maybe the wine helped... But the food was great and now we will walk the seafront back to our hotel... Which is not so great!!!!

Eating out at Fishtales

About to have shrimp kisses followed by blackened catfish withcrab drugging and catfish étouffée ... What will Allan have.. Oh he is so good he has let me chose his dish.. We are sharing . So it is swordfish meeko as well.. And we have 36 flovours of ice cream to chose from for dessert...

On our way to see the Houston space centre

This is the younger two nearly three hours into the journey... Kids, cars and journey.... Through the ages it is well known they do not mix well... Heading for Galveston to stay for the night . They love hotels and are excited. Although it is on the beach and it is not warm... We are building sand castles apparently... Will let you all know.
